About Economic Futures
Economic Futures Summit—a first-of-its-kind, Indigenous-led gathering to galvanize sustainability solutions and create new pathways for evolving the economy and confronting the climate and nature crises.
This summit creates a crucial space where Indigenous knowledge meets modern finance and policy. While billions flow into climate solutions, Indigenous communities often lack access to these opportunities. We’re changing that by connecting:
- Academics and practitioners driving change
- Indigenous leaders with sustainable solutions
- Investors and funders seeking impactful projects
- Policymakers shaping climate finance
Economic Futures Summit is led by Indigenous Engagement Institute, Gwen Bridge Consulting and Wolakota Lab.
Economic Futures takes place November 4 – 6, 2025, at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, San Francisco, California, United States.
350 Indigenous and non-Indigenous practitioners, investors, academics, thought leaders and policymakers in climate, conservation and sustainability.
Our dress code for the event is business casual. We do recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in rooms can vary. Some events take place in the evening when the weather cools down, so be sure to bring appropriate clothing options such as a light jacket or heavier sweater.
